never heard of him but we are linked with him, was 24 years old a few days ago, looks worth a punt if the price is right

If he's got long Covid, our medical team will be able to detect it, if it's got beyond the limb-counting tests we used on Andy Carroll.

Throw a 'No Smiling' clause in his contract and we have a seamless Haller replacement.

Re: Hwang Hee-chan
He had COVID and was described by his manager as ‘feeling almost dead’ and seems to be a victim of long COVID, so has lost his pace and apparent ability to endlessly run chase track and hassle

Which is why they want to loan him out

He’s apparently very keen to join us, as he’s a big fan of Rice.

If we go after him, likely he should fail a medical. BUT we are talking West Ham!

Long Covid will make him as quick as Nobes.

Re: Hwang Hee-chan
Leipzig brought him in to replace Werner. Hasn’t lit it up for them. And has had a bad case of COVID too boot. If we get on loan until the end of the season. Seems a bit pointless with our manager liking to ease players into the team.(That’s no dig at Moyes BTW) We need someone who can hit the floor running. For when Antonio’s hammys go. One to come back in the summer. When Leipzig may want to cut their losses.?
